Radioman 3rd Class Frank Bard Glendenning, 22, died Feb. 26 in Vietnam when a helicopter crashed in flight to Saigon. He was completing his third tuor of duty in Vietnam and was schedualed to return to the United States on March 4. Radioman Glendenning entered service in the U.S. Navy in September, 1966.
He lived in St. Joseph before moving to Bethany in 1964. He attended S. Joseph Central high school but was graduated from South Harrison high school in Bethany 1966.
Survivors include his father, Victor Glendenning, Bethany; his mother, Mrs Lonora Brandon, St. Joseph; a sister, Mrs Vicki Berger, St. Joseph, and a brother, Robert Glendenning, Bethany.
The Body will be returned to Nobel-Robertson mortuary in Bethany.

Services Friday for
RM/3 F. GlendenningServices for Radioman 3rd Class Frank B. Glendenning, 22, will be at 2 P. M. Friday at Nobel-Robertson chapel in Bethany, with the Rev. James King and the Rev. Ted Masters officating. Burial will be in Cedar Hill cemetery at Blythedale.
His body arrived at the Nobel-Robertson mortuary tonight from Vietnam.
RM/3 Glendenning was fatally injured in a helicopter crash Feb. 26 which occured as he was en route to Saigon to retrun to Bethany March 4.
